Everything you need to know about working with Siotek and R.D. Snow.
Managed IT pricing starts at $399/month and is tailored to each practice based on size, complexity, and needs. We believe in working together to find a solution that fits your budget — no cookie-cutter packages. Infrastructure projects (cabling, builds) are quoted per project after a site assessment. Take our free IT assessment and we'll put together a transparent proposal that works for you.
We specialize in dental practices and veterinary clinics — from single-location offices to multi-site groups. We support all varieties of practice management and imaging software, understand compliance requirements like HIPAA, and know the workflows that healthcare practices rely on every day.
Siotek handles ongoing managed IT — help desk, monitoring, cybersecurity, cloud, and day-to-day support. R.D. Snow & Company handles physical infrastructure — data cabling, hardware installation, sound masking, security systems, and full practice build-outs. Together, we cover every layer of your technology from the wires in the wall to the software on your screen.
For critical issues (practice down, no internet, server failure), we respond within 15 minutes. Standard requests are typically addressed within 1–2 hours during business hours. Most issues are resolved remotely — when on-site support is needed, we're local in Louisville and can be there the same day.
Absolutely. HIPAA compliance is woven into everything we do — encrypted backups, access controls, network segmentation, audit logging, security awareness training, and Business Associate Agreements. We help you check every box and keep your practice audit-ready year-round.
That's one of our specialties. R.D. Snow has completed 150+ ground-up practice builds. We get involved at the blueprint stage — planning data drops, server room layout, network architecture, sound masking zones, and security camera placement. When construction is done, we install all hardware and software so you're ready for patients on day one.
We handle those all the time. Whether you're adding operatories, opening a second location, or your current setup is aging out — we'll assess what you have, plan the upgrade path, and execute with minimal disruption to your practice. That includes network upgrades, new workstations, server migrations, cabling additions, and refreshing hardware that's past its lifecycle. We coordinate everything so your team isn't down longer than necessary.
We support all varieties of practice management and imaging software — if your practice runs it, we support it. We also handle digital X-ray sensors, lab integrations, and any other tools your practice depends on.
Absolutely. While we're headquartered in Louisville, KY, we have team members in various states and have successfully provided remote IT services in over 30 states nationwide. Remote management works seamlessly from anywhere, and R.D. Snow travels for on-site infrastructure projects regardless of location.
No problem. We handle the transition smoothly — we'll audit your current setup, document everything, and take over management with zero downtime. Many of our clients came from break-fix providers or general MSPs that didn't understand healthcare IT. The switch is usually painless.

Yes — all of them. We work with Dentrix and Dentrix Ascend, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, Carestream, and every major dental imaging platform including DEXIS, Sidexis, Romexis, CS 9600, and more. We've migrated practices between every major platform and we maintain direct escalation relationships with Henry Schein, Patterson Dental, and Open Dental Software.
Every Siotek client has a documented breach response plan as part of their HIPAA posture. If we detect a suspected incident on your network — via Huntress EDR, SIEM alerts, or user report — we triage within the first hour, contain the scope, preserve forensic evidence, notify your practice, and help you meet the HHS 60-day breach notification window if the incident qualifies as a reportable breach. We do not leave that compliance burden on your office manager.
It depends on your imaging software, chair count, and whether you run 3D/CBCT. At a minimum we recommend: Windows Server 2022 or higher, enterprise-grade SSD storage (RAID 1 or 10), ECC RAM, a proper UPS with enough runtime to survive a brownout, and cooling appropriate to your server room's conditions. Cheap NAS boxes marketed as "imaging servers" almost always fail within 18 months under dental practice loads. We help you size and procure hardware that actually works.
Yes — we've done migrations between every major dental PM platform, including on-prem to cloud (like Dentrix → Dentrix Ascend), and platform-to-platform (like Eaglesoft → Open Dental). We plan, test, and execute the migration without losing chair-hours. Most migrations take a weekend or less to cut over, with patient data fully preserved and verified.
